Samuel Benson, better known as Memphis rapper and Collective Music Group (CMG) recording artist Blac Youngsta, turned himself in to North Carolina police and was arrested in connection with the February 26 shooting involving Memphis rapper and Paper Route Empire (PRE) recording artist, Young Dolph.

Police have released details since Blac Youngsta’s arrest involving Young Dolph’s shooting, which occurred back in February 2017 at the 600 block of N. Caldwell Street in Charlotte, North Carolina during CIAA Weekend.

Police investigators say that during the shooting, which involved shooters firing around 100 bullets at rapper Young Dolph’s vehicle, multiple apartment units and vehicles were hit with bullets in the shooting.

Blac Youngsta turned himself in to police at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

Two other men have also been charged in connection with the shooting – 23-year-old Frederick Black and 20-year-old Antavius Gardner turned themselves in as well.

Blac Youngsta has since been released after around two hours following turning himself in to police.

All three men have reportedly been charged with multiple counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property along with felony conspiracy.

Youngsta claims he’s innocent and had no involvement with the Young Dolph’s shooting incident while his attorney has revealed that the van the rapper rented was stolen.
