Coach Calipari Disses Memphis? “You Had Plastic Forks and Plates”

Coach John Calipari allegedly dissed Memphis, TN for allegedly being cheap with the silverware or so to speak.

The former head coach of the Memphis Tigers Basketball team, now with Kentucky Wildcats, apparently made comments that sounded much like a ‘diss.’

Apparently the words did not go over well with many people including Memphis TV weather anchor Joey Sulipeck, the chief meteorologist for WHBQ Fox 13.

From Coach Calipari’s comments, one would believe the coach didn’t feel he was paid or treated like one of the ‘big boys.’ No one can deny Calipari is great at his job but his past as well as his present comments have rubbed people the wrong way including Joey Sulipeck.

The Memphis TV weather anchor had some words in response to Calipari’s comments about the esteemed Memphis basketball program.
