Rapper Killed During Music Video Shoot in Maryland

Keaway Lafonz Ivy aka rapper Kealo killed on music video set in Maryland

A 21 year-old aspiring rapper, photographer and videographer was shot dead while filming a music video shoot in the parking lot of a housing complex in Maryland.

According to authorities, at least 20 people were participating in the video shoot when he was struck by gunfire which unfortunately killed him.

The shooting of Keaway Lafonz Ivy, most known as Washington D.C. rapper “Kealo,” took place in Seat Pleasant, Maryland.

The victim died from one gunshot wound to the chest.

Some eyewitnesses claim that gun he was shot with was believed to have been a prop and was by accident, however other witnesses believe the shooting was intended.

Currently, police have a suspect in custody by the name of Lafonzo Leonard Iracks, 21, who was arrested in connection with the shooting of Keaway Lafonz Ivy.

According to some reports, Iracks was working with Ivy on the music video when he accidentally shot him with the gun purported to be a prop.

Iracks was arrested while allegedly hiding out in D.C. for what may be a potential homicide and is now awaiting extradition before being possibly charged.
