Promoters in North Carolina are ‘left hanging’ with refunds ranging between thousands of dollars to concert goers, who were also ‘left hanging’ when rapper Lil Wayne did not appear on stage at a rescheduled High School concert.

The School Board, reportedly objected the first scheduled event due to possible gang violence.

The event was then rescheduled however the expected attendance of around 3000 people did not show, instead there was reportedly around 1000 in attendance.

According to celebrity news site TMZ, Lil Wayne sat backstage waiting around three hours for the crowd to show up and when they never did, Lil Wayne was subject to not be paid a couple of thousand dollars.

Around 80 police officers offered to raise the money but could not raise it in time before Lil Wayne left without appearing on stage.

Mitchell Entertainment Group, the promoters of the canceled Lil Wayne concert, plans to sue the school due to them getting the concert canceled before and then rescheduled.

In related news, as reported previously on Memphisrap.com, Lil’ Wayne was recently arrested in Idaho On drug charges when he was reported caught with a bag of 60 pills and marijuana after an Idaho concert.
