The world's number one tennis player Serena Williams was pounded in her greatest defeat in over 15 years.
The number one tennis player Serena Williams was beat 6-0 6-2 at the WTA Finals in Singapore by Simona Halep.
The Romanian Halep, 23, slammed the ball taken down Serena Williams, 33, in a match that even Serena Williams herself called "embarrassing."
Serena Williams was embarrassed at the way she played saying that she served better in her junior years which she was probably correct.
Serena Williams hadn't been defeated this bad since the 18-time Grand Slam winner was 16 years-old when a girl named Joannette Kruger defeated Williams 6-1 6-1 in Oklahoma City which was the last time Williams failed to win more than two games.
Following the match, Serena shared over Twitter that Simona Halep played great simply adding "good job" and "good luck".
