André 3000 Stars As Jimi Hendrix In Movie “All Is By My Side” (Trailer)

André Benjamin, better known as André 3000 from the Atlanta hip-hop group OutKast, is set to debut in a new movie role as famed electric guitarist and singer Jimi Hendrix.

André 3000 takes on the part of the legendary musician Jimi Hendrix, who died at the age of 27 in 1970, in a new biopic film “Jimi: All Is by My Side.”

The rapper and actor seems to take on the role incredibly well in an all new trailer of the new movie which focuses more on Hendrix’ personal life and the people that were involved in it.

There is a striking resemblance as well as a powerful transformation seen in André 3000’s role in the movie.

Along with André 3000, the film also stars Imogen Poots, Hayley Atwell and Burn Gorman.

“Jimi: All Is by My Side” is set to be in US movie theaters September 26th and in the UK on August 8, 2014.
