An Amber alert has been issued for the rescue of 14 yr-old Ayvani Hope Perez who was abducted from her mother’s home during a home invasion and robbery attempt by two men in Ellenwood, Georgia.

Police say around 2AM, two men pried open the back door to the home of the mother, who was there with her two teen children and family dog.

The mother, who only moved into the neighborhood (Brookgate Drive) one month prior, was able to make a 911 call after hearing the break-in while attempting to hide her children from the invaders.

The two men found the mother and the children and demanded jewelry and money. When the men learned that the mother had no money or jewelry to steal, they shot the family dog and then abducted the 14 year-old daughter fleeing from the home in a gray Dodge Charger or Chevrolet Malibu leaving the mother and her 15 year-old son in fear for 14 year-old Ayvani.

Left dealing with a mother’s worst nightmare, sketches of the two men have been released based on the family’s description.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Clayton County police at 678-610-4781.

Ayvani Hope Perez is described as Hispanic with black hair, brown eyes who stands 4 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 93 lbs and was last wearing a blue-and-grey Star Wars pajama pants and a blue-and-grey superhero shirt.

Meanwhile people are banning together through social media to help in the rescue of Ayvani Hope Perez such as with the Facebook page that has been created and hopes to spread the word titled “Please BRING Ayvani Hope Perez HOME SAFE.”

  1. Isn't prohibition grand? This stupid crap only happens because we prohibit a harmless plant for no reason. Fully 85% of firearm crimes in this country are a direct result of prohibition. Instead of admitting they're wrong and that they've been lying to us for over 7 decades about the dangers of marijuana, our esteemed leaders decide to try and take our 2nd amendment rights away. Cartels, street gangs, and cops, they are the only ones who benefit from prohibition and they do it at the expense of our safety.
