Memphis Man Falls 11 Stories On Top Of SUV & SURVIVES! Found Face-down, Later Dies In Hospital

People working at the East Memphis building of Poplar Towers are still shocked over the story of a man that allegedly fell eleven stories from the top of their building down into the parking lot.

Memphis Police say a man, now identified as Derek Davis, 25, fell eleven stories on Tuesday afternoon from the Poplar Towers building located at 6263 Poplar.

Reportedly Derek Davis fell on top of an SUV parked in the parking lot where he was found face down dressed in a button down shirt and khakis.

Derek Davis was rushed to Regional Medical Center (The MED) after shockingly surviving the 11-story fall.

Listed in critical condition, Davis was treated but unfortunately died from the injuries caused by his fall.

Police are currently investigating why Derek Davis fell 11-stories from the Poplar Towers on Tuesday.
