K Michelle Atlanta Landlord Files For Eviction

K. Michelle’s landlord believes that she failed to read the memo about wanting money on the property that she was renting during her stay in Atlanta while she filmed for “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.”

Reportedly, the R&B singer owed for two months rent (June and July) which was $2400/mth. Since K. Michelle failed to deliver payments for those months, an eviction was filed for $6,450 (plus late fees) and $1,250 in filing and administrative fees.

The landlord, who filed in the Fulton County magistrate court, is reported to have stated that he was going to let her break her lease without any penalties, but instead she left and disappeared with the keys without making her payment and made it an inconvenience and hard for them to sell the condo.

Meanwhile, K. Michelle came back and made her statement that basically said the landlord wasn’t doing their part such as supplying the basic plumbing required for a renting tenant.

“Breaking News In America: Kmichelle refuses to pay June/July rent on her Atlanta Condo, that she’s moved out of for over 4months. Shower not working, NO rent. Very simple. So TMZ, AJC or whatever else blog that my landlord has running this story for money and attention my statement is as follows: 0 F**ks given remember to buy my album Rebellious Soul August 13,” wrote K. Michelle.

K. Michelle went on to write about something similar that happened to “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Kenya Moore, who got evicted from her mansion. The landlord tried to evict Kenya Moore over $848 in alleged past late fees, utility bills, $4,500 in late fees for pool and lawn service fees as well as an eviction fee. Judge Louis Levenson couldn’t care less, but ended up being tipped that she was a celebrity and that’s why everyone was making a spectacle of it. The judge ended up saying that the lease didn’t indicate that the services listed were considered late and concluded that the two obviously didn’t like each other and told them to resolve it without more court action for what ended up being $71.48.

Meanwhile, K. Michelle is preparing for the release of her new album Rebellious Soul, spending time with her new man Lance Stephenson (who was seen in recent photos grabbing her booty) and possibly getting ready for her own reality TV show. This all came around the same time K. Michelle announced she was leaving Atlanta, moving to New York and starting a new life, which may also spark a new reality on the Love & Hip Hop New York show.
