Cooking with Tity Boi: 2 Chainz Says New Album Will Include Cookbook

2 Chainz

Rapper 2 Chainz has revealed that his new album, entitled B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time, will include a special bonus, a cookbook. Does this mean that 2 Chainz will be a rapper turned chef?

The Georgia rapper stopped by New York’s Power 105.1 and opened up about the new cookbook being included with his upcoming sophomore album, which the 35 year old says will show “growth and maturation.”

2 Chainz, real name Tauheed Epps aka Tity Boi, says he doesn’t eat beef or pork, but he loves seafood and mostly uses chicken and turkey in his recipes.

The new cookbook, which will likely have about 14-15 meals in it, according to Chainz, may contain meals like this one prepared by the rapper and shared recently on his Twitter, via Instagram:

Chainz isn’t the first and will probably not be the last Southern rapper to turn chef or to share his southern recipes. As reported on MemphisRap.com, rapper and producer DJ Paul, of Three 6 Mafia, who has lately been working on new projects like with rapper/producer Drumma Boy on Clash of The Titans and new work with former members of Three 6 Mafia (Gangsta Boo, Koopsta Knicca, Lord Infamous and Crunchy Black) who formed the new group Da Mafia 6, also took his love for cooking public with the launch of a new cooking seasoning called DJ Paul’s BBQ Rub and cooking video channel called DJ Paul BBQTV on YouTube.

Meanwhile, fans have until September of this year, the same month rapper 2 Chainz celebrates his birthday, to wait for the rapper’s new album B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time and new cookbook Cooking with Tity Boi (we made that up, by the way, the rapper hasn’t officially released the name of the book).
