Memphis ‘Steeler Fans’ Steal iPhone, Get ‘Caught’ Taking Photos With iCloud?!

Have you seen us? Some Memphis ‘Pittsburgh Steelers’ fans weren’t so good at stealing when it came to breaking into a car and grabbing someone’s iPhone in Germantown, TN.

According to WMCTV, the victim reported their phone as stolen and bought a new one. Upon activating their new phone, they realized that their iCloud was still updating.

Yes, the accused criminal(s) didn’t know that the iPhone was automatically attached to the service iCloud which stores the device’s music, photos, contacts, etc. and wirelessly pushes them to any of your devices connected to the account with iOS 5 installed.

When the victim logged into their iTunes account on their new device all their information was automatically pushed to it including new photos which the accused criminal(s) had taken with the stolen phone.

Now police have released the pictures of the alleged suspects and are asking that if anyone knows the people in the photos standing in front of the Steelers flag, please contact 901-528-CASH.
