First, the Cleveland bus driver has been identified as 59 year old Artis Hughes.
The woman, not teenage girl, has been identified as 25 year old Shi'dea Lane.
The altercation which first seemed to be a physical attack led first by Hughes is now believed to have been a defense for the attack seen off camera view in one video online, that Lane done to Hughes.
Hughes along with other eye witnesses claim Lane first grabbed the bus driver around the throat and spit in his face. Afterwards, that is when Hughes can be seen delivering a brutal uppercut blow to Lane knocking her down but not out.
