Grizzlies, Clippers Game 1 Highlights: 27-Point Lead, Stunning Loss (VIDEO)

The Los Angeles Clippers vs. Memphis Grizzlies Game last night is a prime example of “it’s not over until it’s over.” Trailing by as many as 27 points, the Clippers showed the Grizzlies just why coaches tell their team all the time to keep playing hard no matter what the score is.

The Memphis Grizzlies lost Game 1 of the NBA playoffs to the Los Angeles Clippers, after the Clippers made a stunning comeback to win by only one point, in front of a sold-out crowd of 18,119 at FedExForum.

Down 95-71 with 9:13 remaining in the game, the Clippers held the Grizzlies to just one field goal the rest of the game.

The winning points, came with just 23.7 seconds left on the clock when Grizzlies’ Tony Allen, gambling on trying to steal the ball from Clippers’ point guard Chris Paul with the Grizzlies leading, 98-97, was whistled for a foul, sending Paul to the free throw line.

Paul sunk the winning free throws giving the Clippers the winning baskets they needed to take the lead and win, 99-98.

Game #2 will be Wednesday, May 2, at 8:30 p.m. CST, 9:30 p.m. ET.
