It seems that Memphis rapper Don Trip has become the latest rapper to fall victim to Twitter for allegedly a tweet made on the microblogging website which reportedly has led to the rapper receiving death threats via his Twitter.
Don Trip was sent the threatening messages apparently following a statement the rapper made about 'death.'
Apparently, Don Trip's 'death' tweet led many to believe the rapper was referring to another Memphis rapper Samuel Wilkes, aka 'Sam Bo,' who was recently found dead after a shooting, as reported on MemphisRap.com.
Wilkes was discovered by police over Easter weekend, the same time as Don Trip's Tweet about death, apparently leading some people on Twitter to believe the rapper was disrespecting the death of people, Wilkes and/or 'death' itself.
The rapper, who has recently been pushing his latest Guerrilla Mixtape: Gangsta Grillz edition hosted by DJ Drama, showed no fear of the death threats following later with "I keep getting wind of niggas sending death threats...hope they know they coming wit me if they come to get me."
Later the rapper retweeted a tweet from another party stating "Anybody that KNOWS @MrDonTrip knows he has dealt with death IN his IMMEDIATE family, dealing with death makes you callous for non family."
Don Trip has since then went back to business as usual tweeting to his fans about his upcoming events and asking fans if he did remix a song off his Guerrilla Mixtape, which one would it be and with whom should it be with.
