Memphis Tigers Have a New Player: Meet Charles Carmouche

Our Memphis Tigers are proud to announce that we have a new guard coming in by the name of Charles Carmouche. Charles, a 6’2 junior guard, transferred from the University of New Orleans and he is ready to get out there and fight like as Tiger.

Carmouche can play immediately because, this upcoming season, New Orleans will switch from Division I basketball to Division III which makes him eligible now and he will not have to sit out a semester.

“Charles loves to compete and wants to be around winning,” said Josh Pastner. “Charles is eligible to play immediately, and having already played two years at the Division I level, he is a veteran whose experience should help the young squad well have entering next season.”

Charles, while at the University of New Orleans, was the leading rebounder at 4.8. per game and played the most minutes. He also led his team in steals and shoots at a 39.7 percentage. Memphis, please join Me in welcoming one of the many young men that will impact our great college basketball program — Charles Carmouche.
