Three 6 Mafia Reaches Final Stages of Upcoming Album “Laws of Power”

Juicy J and DJ Paul, members of Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia

Memphis own rap duo Three 6 Mafia's upcoming album "Laws of Power" will be available in stores and online Tuesday, November 10, 2009.

"Laws of Power" is the follow-up to 2008's "Last 2 Walk," which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200. One of the singles will be a new version of "Lil Freak (Ugh Ugh Ugh)" which first appeared on Juicy J's solo album "Hustle Til I Die," which came out in June. The other lead single will be "Shake My," produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. It features singer Kalenna from Diddy's group Dirty Money.

Three 6 Mafia has also recorded a track called "Feel It," featuring Flo Rida and Sean Kingston that is techno influenced.

As of right now it is unknown if the controversial group member Lord Infamous will be featured on this album. However, he is still a member which was previously printed in a MemphisRap.com article, "“As far as Lord, I’m still working on that and Lord was never kicked out the group, so don’t think Lord was kicked out the group, Lord is still a part of Three 6 Mafia,” revealed DJ Paul. “He helped build Three 6 Mafia, and create Three 6 Mafia… Lord was just going through some thangs, and he had to get that together. He got it together now.. we finna be back in the lab working,” Paul added.
