Oscar winning hip-hop artists, DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia are cooking, literally! According to Juicy J’s interview with MemphisRap.com , who spoke with MemphisRap’s Jabari Oliver about details, the group is planning a new cooking show. Three 6 Mafia has teamed up with reality television show producer, Adam Briles (Survivor, The Contender, Out of the Wild: The Alaska Experiment) for the new cooking show which Juicy J provides detail about in his interview.

“We got a cooking show we been working on called Cooking Ain’t Easy,” Juicy J told MemphisRap.com. “We cooking all kinds of food like Indian food, Asian food, Mexican food, Italian food — I mean, it’s a comedy, it’s funny, we got Big Triece on the show — it’s me and Paul and Big Triece and we casting some more people on the show,” Juicy J added.

The rapper goes on to say that he’s not just cooking soul food like from his hometown of Memphis but they’ll be “cooking everything” including even “Persian food” and more.

The show will be executive produced by Adam Briles and is currently still being shopped to major networks, the rapper adds.

“We’re just going to take it to different networks and we’re just going with the highest bidder,” Juicy J told MemphisRap.com.

Currently, the project is being shopped by Mise En Scene Entertainment, Inc. and the William Morris Endeavor Agency.

Also, according to Juicy J, the Three 6 Mafia’s new cooking show is not the only projects the Academy award winning group is working on — Juicy J says the group is also working on a new movie project.

“We been doing some movie stuff that I can’t say right now because the checks ain’t cleared,” stated Juicy J.

No further details were made available regarding the movie project.

More news is expected to be available soon regarding the new Three 6 Mafia cooking show and the new movie project.
