Young Buck and DJ Freddy Hydro To Host Tennessee Music Conference and Hip-Hop Awards


DJ Freddy Hydro and Young Buck are scheduled to host the first annual Tennessee Music Conference and Hip Hop Awards in Nashville, TN.

This coming weekend, Memphis’ own two-time SEA Award-winning DJ Freddy Hydro and Nashville’s native son and former G Unit member Young Buck will be hosting the first annual Tennessee Music Conference and Hip Hop Awards in Nashville, TN.

Among hosting, Young Buck will also be performing at the Tennessee Hip Hop Awards and be on the artist panel of the Tennessee Music Conference titled “How to make Money Independently in the Music and Entertainment industry,” along with Granddaddy Souf, Haystak, La Chat, Playa Fly, Mr. Serv On (formerly of No Limit), Trai’ D (Gutta Chick), Yung D (newly signed artist to Three 6 Mafia’s Hypnotized Minds) and more. Performances on the day of the 1st Annual Tennessee Hip Hop Awards are said to include artists such as Young Buck, as previously mentioned, Grafitti Boyz, Grandaddy Souf, Kinfolk Thugz, Trai’ D, and Yung D amongst others.

“We want to honor and pay homage to the people who have helped to develop the TN Hip-Hop market to what it is, and work as a state to help to continue to build the market,” a statement from the events website site said, continuing, “This event will help to establish a foundation in which the TN music community can use to help grow and develop their careers in music.”

Other panels for the Tennessee Music Conference include an A& R Power Panel: “How to get signed to a Major, and what are the Advantages and Disadvantages?” and a DJ’s Panel: “What do DJ’s look for in a HIT RECORD and how should the Artist Push a Records”.

This and more all goes down at the Tennessee Music Conference on Saturday September 6 at the Millennium Maxwell Hotel & Resort at 2025 Rosa L. Parks Blvd and at the Tennessee Hip Hop Awards on Sunday September 7 at the Gaylord Convention Center at 2800 Opryland Dr at 4 PM with a Special Pioneer Legend Awards being presented to recipients 8-Ball & MJG along with 3-6 Mafia, DJ C-Wiz, and DJ Squeeky.
