A local rapper at a Bun B concert in Austin, Texas was tased by Austin Police officers for what seems to have developed from a dispute/altercation between the rapper and the venue’s bouncers where the concert was held on last Wednesday.

The venue where the event was held is called Emo’s and the rapper’s name is Robert “Lowkey” Hein, a member of the opening act, SouthBound, according to Austin360.

The disturbing scene, including the rapper being tased, was witnessed by Joe Gross of Austin360.

“Sadly, Bun’s short set wasn’t the most disturbing part,” stated Gross. “After Robert “Lowkey” Hein from opening act SouthBound had an altercation with Emo’s bouncers, I witnessed him getting tased by a couple of Austin police officers.”

According to Sgt. Richard Stresing of the Austin police department’s public information office, the rapper was tased for resisting arrest and was arrested at 1:09 a.m. Thursday on charges of public intoxication.
