Cannon, 27, states that it was love-at-first sight and they have been inseparable.

A few days prior to the wedding, Cannon proposed to Carey, 38, on the rooftop of her New York apartment building. A private wedding followed on April 30 in the Bahamas with a few family and friends in attendance. The pop star and celebrity, Mariah Carey wore an off-white dress by Nile Cmylo and Christian Louboutin shoes, while Nick Cannon sported a white suit by designer Balenciaga.

According to Mariah Carey, the two got tattoos a few weeks earlier, which talk show queen and entrepreneur Oprah Winfrey revealed on her show that Carey showed her the tattoo on her back which spelled out “Mrs Cannon”.

In related news, the singer was seen wearing a diamond ring along side her new hubby Nick Cannon at the premiere of her film Tennessee at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York last weekend.

This is Nick Cannon’s first marriage, and Mariah Carey’s second marriage. The singer was married to Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998.
