Still Reports of Jay-Z and Beyonce Marriage

Jay-Z and Beyonce are reported to have had a wedding celebration with family and friends this past Friday (April 4) at a private ceremony at his penthouse apartment in the Tribeca area.

As recently reported on MemphisRap.com back on Wednesday (April 2), the reports that Jay-Z and Beyonce were planning to get married are still circulating with now some reports saying the couple are already married. The rumors were around for quite some time that the singer and actress Beyonce Knowles, 26, and rapper/music mogul Jay-Z, 38 were getting married, but the rumors were never quite so backed up as they are now by credible sources such as People Magazine and others reporting the news.

According to first reports, the couple, who has been dating since 2002, picked up a marriage license in Westchester’s Scarsdale Village in New York. Now the two are reported to have had a wedding celebration with family and friends this past Friday at a private ceremony at Jay-Z’s penthouse apartment in the Tribeca area of New York. What gave it away were reports of a tent which was erected on the top of his building and the delivery of flowers and candelabras. The room is reported to have been decorated with more than 50,000 white orchids flown in from Thailand.

The occasion included guests Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jay-Z’s mother Gloria Carter, Mathew Knowles, Solange, amongst others. Reportedly the ceremony was followed by a lavish party.

The drivers who were hired three days prior to bring the guests were called off, but then later requested back that day. They circled the buildings waiting for instructions while keeping a hold on the guests’ cell phones which had to stay in the car.

Could this have just been a celebration for Jay-Z $100 million dollar plus deal with concert promoter Live Nation which is allegedly one of the largest deals of its kind or are the two now Mr. and Mrs. Carter?
