Bun B Having Difficulty Deciding Next Single for Upcoming Album, II Trill

Bun B’s second solo LP, II Trill, is set to hit stores on April 29 and the UGK rapper is undecided on which singles to release.

“We got a lot of good options,” stated Bun B at the South by Southwest music festival earlier in March, according to MTV. “That’s one thing with UGK: We never tried to make singles; we always made sure we got a solid album. Our problem was trying to decide what the single would be.”

The rapper’s second solo LP, II Trill, is set to hit stores on April 29 under Rap-A-Lot/Asylum Records, and the decided first single is called “That’s Gangsta” featuring Sean Kingston.

“‘Gangsta’ is still doing real good,” “We’re gonna shoot that video, just waiting for Sean to get back from overseas to get that movin’,” stated Bun B.

Other singles on the album the rapper is contemplating releasing as singles include “Damn I’m Cold” featuring Lil Wayne, “I Luv That” produced by Scott Storch, “Good II Me” featuring Mya, and “You’re Everything With Me” featuring Rick Ross, David Banner and 8Ball & MJG.

“The song with Mya is a real good record,” Bun said. “We got this song called ‘You’re Everything With Me’ with Rick Ross, David Banner and 8Ball & MJG. The beat is incredible. I think what the song represents would be something good.”

Other featured appearances on the II Trill album include Bun B’s longtime partner and other half of UGK, the late Pimp C, plus Lupe Fiasco, Lil’ Wayne, Z-Ro, Mike Jones, Junior Reid, Webbie, and Chamillionaire.

Other producers on the album include Jazze Pha, Clinton Sparks and JR Rotem, among others.
