Rapper Lil Jon Launches "Little Jonathan Winery," says "Crunk N The Cup! Wine N The Wine Glass!"


Though the rapper/producer Lil Jon is moving from Energy Drinks into the world of winery, the rapper told MemphisRap.com, he’s keeping Crunk Juice in his pimp cup, but wine will be in his glass.

Rapper/producer Lil Jon born Jonathan Smith, 36, is moving from Energy Drinks into the world of Winery. MemphisRap.com has learned that the quoted “King of Crunk” is launching Little Jonathan Winery which is expected to go national within the next couple of months.

The three brands of wines that will be carried are Cabernet Sauvignon 2006, Chardonnay 2006, and Merlot 2005, an official spokesperson of Lil Jon’s Little Jonathan Winery told MemphisRap.com on Tuesday afternoon (Mar. 11). The rapper is stated to be very hands-on with the development and launch of the new winery.

“As far as his role- it’s his winery… Little Jonathan Winery. So he’s very involved with everything that involves his wine,” a spokesperson stated to MemphisRap.com.

“I love wine and I think that it’s an untapped market for the urban consumer,” Lil Jon told Jawn Murray of BV Buzz. “I wanted it to be the best, so we chose a world renowned wine maker, Alison Crowe, to bottle and create my Little Jonathan Winery.”

With his new wine, Lil Jon hopes to give people an alternative to hard liquor and beer with the new three brands of Little Jonathan Winery.
