New York Governor Eliot Spitzer Linked To Prostitution Sex Ring

After a high-end prostitution ring investigation, it was found that New York Governor Eliot Spitzer was directly linked to obtaining prostitution services.

After a high-end prostitution ring was being investigated, suspicious money transfers by New York Governor Eliot Spitzer led FBI agents to believe he was hiding bribes which further led to them to uncover something unexpected, he was involved in obtaining services from a prostitution ring.

The same man who was thought to be helping root out crime and corruption in both business and government was found linked to a crime of his own, but hasn’t been charged with any wrong doing. Police identifies him as “Client 9” in a federal investigation of the prostitution ring and has arrested four people suspected of running the ring and charged them last week with violating the federal Mann Act, a 1910 law that outlaws traveling across state lines for prostitution.

After the news broke, Spitzer, 48, apologized while he was being investigated as part of the ring that stretched from New York to London and Paris. The club “Emperors Club VIP” tied to the prostitution ring serviced rich clients in New York, Miami, Washington, London and Paris.

With his wife Silda by his side, Spitzer stated at a news conference today, “I have acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family. I have disappointed and failed to live up to the standard I expected of myself. I must now dedicate some time to regain the trust of my family.”

The Governor is stated to have arranged for a prostitute “Kristen” to meet him in Washington, D.C. whom he paid $4,300 for her services numerous times. More than 5,000 separate wiretaps of conversations from the Emperors Club VIP as well as thousands of telephones calls, e-mails, text messages, financial records and surveillances were emerged by officials. The investigation of the ring started last year after a financial probe by the Internal Revenue Service.

After the Republicans learned of this, they have since then requested for Spitzer to resign.

The Governor is stated to have been an avid supporter of Hillary Clinton.
