Arrests Made In Lester Street Murders; Photo of Victim’s Body Surfaces On Internet


Memphis Police are expected to hold a press conference regarding arrests in the Lester Street murders. A photo of the dead body of one of the Lester Street victims has surfaced on the Internet.

Memphis Police are expected to hold a press conference at 3:00 PM CST today (Mar. 8) to announce the arrest of a suspect in the Lester Street murders where the adult bodies of Cecil Dewayne Dotson, 30, who rented the house; his girlfriend, Marissa Rene Williams, 27; Hollis Seals, 33; and Shindri Roberson, 22 and two children were all found killed at the home of 722 Lester St. in Binghampton area of North Memphis, TN.

According to news reports Jessie Dotson, the brother of victim Cecil Dotson, may be one of the suspects announced in the case.

In related news, a photo of the dead body of one of the Lester Street victims surfaced on the Internet at Memphis blogger Thaddeus Matthews’ blog site. According to Thaddeus Matthews, police had gotten a statement from one of the surviving child victims of the Lester Street Murders. The child is still in LeBonheur Hospital under protective care and when they [the police] asked, who was it that stabbed the 9 year-old, “Uncle Junior did it,” was reportedly the child’s reply. Uncle Junior is referring to Cecil Dotson’s brother, Jessie Dotson, Jr. who once again is expected to be announced and according to the Matthews, the confessed killer.
