Rapper Fires Gun At Night Club, Hits Owner and Guard Dies In Crash

According to Baton Rouge news WAFB, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a local rapper after shooting up a Baton Rouge night club ending in a club owner being shot and a guard dying in a crash on the way to see him.

According to Baton Rouge news WAFB, East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a local rapper after being accused of shooting the owner of a Baton Rouge night club. The rapper name Co-G, 22 born Cody Arbuckle has been charged with attempted first degree murder.

The rapper who regular performed at the club is stated to have gone back inside the night club Bella Noche on Greenwell Springs Road after he was allegedly kicked out. The rapper took a gun out of a red Chevrolet Avalanche and began to shoot at around 1:15 Sunday morning. Unfortunately, one of the bullets struck the owner in the lower back which led him to be taken to the hospital for his injuries.

One of the security guards named Marcus Montque, 37, who reportedly put rapper Co-G out of the night club, died after the incident in a car crash while on his way to the hospital to see his boss shortly has he left the premises. Montque crashed his Toyota Corolla into drainage canal around 1:45 am, Sunday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene by officials. Two of his passengers where taken to the hospital after suffering serious injuries.

The crash is still being investigated and anyone with information is asked to call Traffic Homicide Office in Baton Rouge at 225-389-7819.
