The Memphis Tigers remain undefeated after their win against UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham ) on Saturday making their winning streak 25-0 (11-0 Conference USA).

There was only two minutes left in the games and the Tigers were down by seven points and with Chris Douglas-Roberts reworking a 3-point play with only 6.5 seconds left and a too late basket attempt by the Blazers, the Tigers walked away winning by one point, 79-78.

Sports writers who were preparing for a loss and reported it as such were overwhelmed at how good the team pulled it off and had to retract their reporting fast after the win.

Fans who thought UAB had won began to celebrate early and after realizing the loss began taunting, spitting, throwing bottles and debris at the Tigers as they were escorted to their dressing room. The aftermath has now prompted an investigation by Conference USA officials.

In related news, the Memphis Tigers are expected to play their next scheduled game against Tulane in New Orleans, Louisiana on Wednesday.

On April 7th, the Tigers are expected to be playing for the national championship.
