SEA Weekend

What a great weekend! First we kicked it off at the New Daisy for the Memphisrap.com Showcase and Networking event and then myself and Jabari Oliver headed down to the SEA 2008 awards at the Grand Casino to represent Memphisrap.com to the fullest. We were nominated for two awards and on top of that, we were down there to interview and party with the South’s finest.

I wasn’t too impressed with the overall turn out from our Memphis artists. Come on Memphis, Show some support for who’s supporting you. To name a few of who I did see down there representing Miss Gangsta Boo, Graffiti Boyz, JAG Records, Yo Gotti, Tom Skeemask, DJ 007, DJ Squeeky and the now more famous Kia Shine. (Talking s--t about Wendy Day will put anybody in the spotlight, Not to encourage that though. We all know the consequences:) But much love to every artist who did show there face. We love you all! Jabari and I networked all weekend, from Ozone Magazine to Urban Network. The hottest labels, magazines, DJ’s, models and artists were all there to network and support the SEA’s.
