At present, the police are saying the incident looks like a random event, and that no evidence thus far points to the victim as having any ill involvement.
Taylor 's girlfriend and young daughter were in the house at the time of the shooting. The gunman is still on the run. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 11 am at Pharmed Arena at Florida International University in Miami.
A moment of silence will take place around the NFL on Sunday in honor of Taylor.
