Earlier yesterday afternoon, rapper Miscellaneous contacted MemphisRap.com's Deanna Brown by phone via jail and gave a statement regarding being arrested for attempted 1st degree murder and conspiracy charges.

The day before yesterday, Memphisrap.com received word that Memphis rapper Miscellaneous aka 'Mr. Memphis Walk' was arrested which was later somewhat confirmed via Misc.'s MySpace page with a message posted stating "Free Miscellaneous and MobTies, Not Guilty." This came right after a welcome note was sent from the rapper's publicist to Memphisrap.com's Deanna Brown as a thank you note for a recent mention about the rapper in Ozone Magazine, where Deanna writes a regular local column. Well, earlier yesterday afternoon, rapper Miscellaneous contacted Deanna Brown by phone via jail and gave a statement which was cut rather short being that there was only a 2-3 minute time frame allowed on the phone and even less in talk time. Miscellaneous and the whole Mob Ties family is involved with the same alleged charges. "Im not guilty and I want everyone to know that!" stated Misc to Memphisrap.com's Deanna Brown.

According to police reports, the rapper was booked on the 26th of November for attempted 1st degree murder, conspiracy, reckless endangerment and aggravated assault charges and is being charged with two counts of attempted 1st degree murder and (1) count of conspiracy. The rapper's bail has been set at $500,000.

Before ending the call, Miscellaneous made it clear that he has a song coming to his MySpace that will help explain everything, so Memphisrap.com will continue to keep you updated as this is still developing.

Miscellaneous is set to appear in court December 10, 2007.
