Public Schools, Are All Children Taught Equally?

Separate but equal is a topic of the past, or is it?

All children regardless of race are entitled to the best education possible by the state. In today’s local public school area economic status plays an important role in the educating of children. A federal program called Title 1 gives thousands of dollars to schools in poor areas, in many schools the funds never reach the children that it is meant to help. For example, Memphis City Schools receive millions for students, but in the schools that need it the most there are no supplies for students and many teachers have a 100 copy paper limit per semester. If you teach 100 children a day, how is that adequate?
