Larry Nix & Co. is the back bone of music in Memphis. Larry Nix has been around mastering music ever since the Johnny Cash days. Every serious artist out of Memphis has to go to Larry Nix to get their music mastered. Three 6 Mafia presented Larry Nix with a platinum plaque for their platinum album “When the Smoke Clears, Sixty Six, Sixty One” that Larry Nix mastered.

Kevin Nix which is Larry Nix’s son plans on taking over the family business, Kevin has his share of work put in by mastering independent artists such as Al Kapone, Dj Squeeky, Partee and more.

Larry Nix & Co. is located in Ardent studios downtown on Madison Ave., hours are from 10am – 4pm Monday – Friday.
