A number of Memphis based clubs originally started out catering to the 21 and up crowds and banning rap and rap performances have began to branch into rap due to a number of reasons (low attendance, etc.). “The Premier”, “Plush Club” and “Fire & Ice” are among the clubs who started banning rap and rap performances but eventually had to result into allowing Rap and Rap shows.

Club Senses is the only club in Memphis to stay true to a 21 and up crowd and still doesn’t allow rap shows. Whats the reason for this? Is it discrimination? They only seem to allow it after not being able to maintain a crowd of choice.
