A home run in the seventh inning put the Sox up 3-0, but the Rockies rallied back with one run and two others in the eighth. Bobby Kielty's eighth inning score secured the Sox 4-3 win.



Sox closer, Jonathan Papelbon, retired the last five Rockies hitters, and finished the postseason without allowing a hit in 10 innings. Mike Lowell, whose two homeruns help lead the Sox to victory Sunday night, was later name World Series MVP.
