Women’s Health: Breast Cancer Death Rates Fall

There has been a significant decline in reported breast cancer since 2000. Decreased hormone therapy usage and, unfortunately, decreased mammography screenings are the two main reasons for the reduction.

According to a recent American Cancer Society report, breast cancer death rates have declined more than 2% annually due to early detection and more accurate treatments.
