Madison Square Garden Has To Pay Up


The Manhattan jury found in favor of Browne Sanders and order MSG to pay her a total of $11.6 million for unjustly firing her from the New York Knicks corporate office.

The three week trial of Browne Sanders vs Madison Square Garden ended on Tuesday. Anucha Browne Sanders was fired from the New York Knicks corporate office shortly after complaining about being sexually harassed by Knicks executive Isaiah Thomas.

The Manhattan jury found in favor of Browne Sanders and order MSG to pay her a total of $11.6 million for unjustly firing her.

The court released a breakdown of Browne Sanders monetary award as such: $6 million from MSG for creating a hostile work environment, $3 million from MSG Chairman James Dolan for firing her in retaliation, and $2.6 million from MSG for retaliation.
