The hip hop duo Chad “Pimp C” Butler and Bernard “Bun B” Freeman are getting ready to release their highly anticipated seventh album coming this July 17, which is self-titled “UGK, Underground Kingz”. The CD consists of a 2-CD set of over 30 plus tracks featuring everyone from Rick Ross, Slim Thug, Three 6 Mafia, T.I., Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Charlie Wilson, Willie D, Sleepy Brown and others.

The first single released off the album “Stop & Go” produced by Jazze Phae did fairly well, followed by “The Game Belongs to Me” produced by Pimp C. Their current single that’s circulating is “International Players Anthem (I Choose You)” produced by Three 6 Mafia featuring Andre 3000 & Big Boi from OutKast. If one can remember, the backtrack used in the song is the same one used for Project Pat. That’s what you’d call good recycling, it was a perfect match for the Texas duo.

On June 4th, the video for the song “International Players Anthem (I Choose You)” premiered on MTV2’s Unleashed which is loosely based around scenes of Andre 3000 getting married (not really). The video included a number of cameo’s including those from Three 6 Mafia, David Banner, Bishop Don Magic Juan, Farnsworth Bentley and others. Another song that’s making its way around is “Quit Hatin the South” which features Charlie Wilson and Willie D. “Now it’s our time to shine and the tables is turned and motherf^ck*rs are aggravated cause we getting som burn…”
