Both companies (Sony BMG Music Entertainment & MobiTV) will also be collaborating on the creation of a number of customized channels which will feature original video programming.
Sony BMG Music Entertainment and MobiTV which delivers content to mobile and broadband networks, today announced the addition of more than 2,400 music videos. MobiTV will tie in music videos from Sony BMG Music Entertainment into their existing music channels where fan will access to more 7,000 music videos through the mobile service.
Both companies (Sony BMG Music Entertainment & MobiTV) will also be collaborating on the creation of a number of customized channels which will feature original video programming. Content that will be made available through the customized channels will include long-form concerts, genre and artist-driven shows and series, as well as programming created by the artists themselves. Some of the programming will be made available for an additional fee.

Currently, subscribers can access music videos from the industry's leading music labels, throughout seven of the branded channels provided by MobiTV. The channels are categorized by a number of genres including rap, hip-hop, pop, country, Latin, rock and alternative. Unlike other mobile services, MobiTV allow subscribers full unlimited access to music videos beyond their subscription.
