Update: Arrested Rapper Yukmouth of Rap-A-Lot Records, Manager Speaks

At the time of the rapper’s arrest, he was charged with driving on a suspended license and held for an outstanding warrant.

MemphisRap.com caught up with Rap-A-Lot Records rapper Yukmouth’s manager, Kat Gaynor, about Yukmouth’s recent arrest which resulted in Yukmouth being held on bond for $40,000. It seems that Yukmouth was simply on his way to Mels Drive-In on W Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, CA to pick up food after a long night when he was apprehended and arrested on Sunday, June 3, 2007. At the time of the rapper’s arrest, he was charged with driving on a suspended license and held for an outstanding warrant. Gaynor told MemphisRap.com that the outstanding warrant was originally from a DUI and gun case.

“Some of the classes weren’t complete on the case and so they sent his file back to court,” stated Gaynor.

The rapper is stated to be still locked in the Los Angeles jail system.

When asked about Yukmouth’s forthcoming album, “Million Dollar Mouthpiece,” Gaynor told MemphisRap.com that the rapper has 4 more songs to complete before the release of the album which will be releasing on Rap-A-Lot Records in September 07 instead of Summer 07 as mentioned in a recent report.

Yukmouth will also be touring with E-40 on the “Grown and Manish Tour” starting in July.
