Record Exec Jermaine Dupri Opening Nightclub ”Studio 72” In Georgia

The music executive reportedly spent more than $1 million dollars in renovating the location. The name Studio 72 is patterned after the name of the legendary disco club Studio 54, but with the number 72 which is believed to represent his birth year.

Record label executive Jermaine Dupri is expected to be opening a nightclub called Studio 72 with a preview scheduled for tonight (June 5). According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Jermaine Dupri has already invited the press and his famous friends to get a glimpse of his newest business venture.

The nightclub will be 12,000 square-feet located at 3965 Lawrenceville Highway northeast of Atlanta and will feature a 600 gallon aquarium filled with exotic fish with hues of browns, silver and champagne according to reports.
