Three 6 Mafia Speak On Former Members, ”They Think They Can Do It On Their Own”

Three 6 Mafia, in the April issue of Source Magazine, spoke briefly on why members of the group and Hypnotize Camp Posse keep leaving.

If you picked up the April issue of Source Magazine, then you would already know that the Oscar winning group Three 6 Mafia, who was featured on the cover of the hip-hop magazine, spoke briefly on why members of the group and Hypnotize Camp Posse keep leaving.

"People be in people's ear and make them think the grass is greener on the other side. Then they tend to believe it," stated DJ Paul. "Who knows the reason.. they think they can do it on their own. It seems so easy when it's DJ Paul and Juicy J doing everything, but when you have to sit up, answer phones, make beats or go buy beats from somebody else, book studio time, fly back in forth across the country and do deals, read contracts around the clock, they see it ain't so easy."

"When they get on their own and they ain't got all that, they're like, 'Oh shit. I should have thought this plan out a little further before I tried this," added Paul.

"You've just got to be loyal, especially when you know that two dudes, like me and Paul, are doing most of all the work. I could see if somebody else was doing all the work, but I mean we built the company from scratch," stated Juicy J. "We're still looking for new artists to sign. If an artist leaves, there's always somebody that wanna be in your spot that'll work 10 times harder than the last person."

"It's a lot of opportunities out here, man. You've just got to get off your ass and go for it. That's what I did back in the day. I didn't have shit. Seriously. Growing up, nothing. Dead serious," added Juicy.

Three 6 Mafia's new reality TV show "Adventures in Hollyhood" airs every Thursday on MTV and the group's new album entitled "Last 2 Walk" is scheduled for a July 3rd release date.

The first single off "Last 2 Walk" is "Doe Boy Fresh" featuring Chamillionaire. Other expected features on the album include Project Pat, Paul Wall, 8 Ball & MJG, Lyfe Jennings, Young Buck, Crime Mob, The Game, Lil' Jon, Akon, Lil' Keke, Lil' Wayne, Al Kapone, DJ Spanish Fly, and Swizz Beatz.
