No details are immediately available about the incident but sources state that the shooting occurred after midnight on Wednesday morning in New York.

On March 24th, 2007 rapper Tony Yayo was arrested for assaulting the son of Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond who was wearing a Czar entertainment shirt. It is reported that the 14 year-old boy was pushed against a wall and slapped while Tony Yayo yelled explicit comments about the company which was previously sued by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. The company was accused by 50 Cent of showing footage of him in a documentary about Kelvin “50 Cents” Martin who 50 Cent is stated to have obtained his name from.

Tony Yayo was charged on March 25, 2007 for assaulting the minor with one count of misdemeanor assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a minor and was released on $5,000 bail. The rapper is scheduled to return to court on April 25.

Tony Yayo is currently working on his second album to be released in 2007 called Godfather of the Ghetto.
