Crunkfest To Celebrate 5th Anniversary with Crunkfest 07 Weekend ft Jeezy, DJ UNK, 8Ball & MJG, Lil Boosie and more

For the past few years Crunkfest has been providing a yearly event at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, TN but this year for its fifth anniversary the Crunkfest will be holding a weekend of events spanning over four days with the grand concert being held at the FedEx Forum.

For the past few years Crunkfest has been providing a yearly event at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, TN with a roster of artists ranging from Three 6 Mafia, Yo Gotti, Ying Yang Twins, Lil Webbie, Lil Boosie, Bun B of UGK, Gangsta Boo, Criminal Manne, Mac E and more. This year for its fifth anniversary the Crunkfest will be holding a weekend of events spanning over four days with the grand concert being held at the FedEx Forum which seats over 20,000 people.

Throughout the four day events to take place at this year’s Crunkfest 07 Weekend include Saturday, June 30th – The Dons & Diva Mansion Party, and of course, July 3rd – 5th Anniversary Crunkfest Concert including activities this year for kids according to Go’Dilox, spokesperson for Crunkfest ’07, who spoke with MemphisRap.com by phone Wednesday evening.

“We really wanted to have performers who are the hottest out right now and shining,” says GoDilox. “This is our 5th year anniversary and this is why we wanted to make this the biggest Crunkfest yet. Others have Crunfest events now but we were the first. This year we are also trying to make it all ages, with parties and activities for the kids too. Though, we’re still in the planning stages now for all the activities.”

To commemorate this event, Crunk Magazine (ATL) may possibly be dedicating an entire issue with its first Commemorative issue for Crunkfest.

Scheduled to ‘Get Crunk’ at this year’s Crunkfest ’07 Weekend are Jeezy, Baby Boy, 8 Ball & MJG, Huey, DJ UNK, Lil Boosie, Yo Gotti, Playa Fly, Kia Shine, La Chat and more.
