The rap veteran Tela is back with a new single entitled “Got Pimpin”. Rumor has it that the rapper’s latest album P.I.M.P. (Power In My People) is stated to be expected sometime in July 2007, however no official announcement has been made. So we’ll have to look out for more from Tela soon.

Three 6 Mafia new reality TV series “Adventures In Hollyhood” hasn’t been getting good marks with media or press. Phrases such as “Beverly Hillbillies”, “None Artistic Bafoons”, “Ghetto Bling Billies” and more have been used to describe the show and the characters of the show. Is media jumping the gun? Let It B Known Records artist P. Moses “the Pretty Pimp” is releasing her first official single, “Reasons” from her upcoming album, “Straight From the Heart” next week. The song is written by P. Moses featuring Michael Savage and is produced by Rick Flare. Though there is another version of the sampled song originally by Earth, Wind & Fire, P Moses tells MemphisRap.com that her song is definitely the real deal and has sample clearance approved by EMI Music Publishing. Currently, P. Moses is making finishing touches on her long awaited album, “Straight From the Heart,” which is due later this Spring. In the Hip-Hop charts news, rapper Young Buck is at the forefront with his album Buck the World which debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 moving 140k its first week and is at #1 on the Billboard Rap Charts. 8 Ball & MJG’s album Ridin’ High which debuted at #8 moving 49K its first week out dropped down to #50 on the Billboard 200 and currently holds #7 on the Billboard Rap Charts down from #2. The album “Ridin High” was released on March 13, 2007 and is reported to be at 91K.
