Hillary Clinton leads 2008 campaign for President

Former first lady and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is ready to take on other candidates for the 2008 Democratic nomination for the Presidential candidacy.

Former first lady and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is ready to take on other candidates for the 2008 Democratic nomination for the Presidential candidacy. Clinton stated on Saturday, “I’m looking forward to it.”

Clinton, who’s known for her ‘tough as nails’ demeanor just recently voiced her differences with current president “George Bush, Jr” about the war in Iraq who stated that he wants to send an additional 20,000 troops.

On Saturday the New York senator answered questions after promoting legislation which would improve health care for children. Clinton believes that no child should go without healthcare since the U.S. is one the of the richest countries of all countries. “… we have both the obligation, and now the opportunity, to make sure no child does go without health insurance,” she stated at a community health center.

Clinton’s rivals believe that she’s one of the most favorite Democratic nominations even though the race is a distance away.

Clinton is in hopes to become the first female president and there may be a high chance that she may be the first woman president since women are currently outranking men 2 to 1. But will this happen in the U.S. due to some moral standards and family values many believe in?

Former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich believes Clinton can raise far more resources than any other Democrat and probably raise more resources than all the other Democrats combined.

“And you’d have to say, given those assets, that she has a six-out-of-10 chance or better of being the Democratic nominee,” stated Newt Gingrich.
