Ying Yang Twins set to release ”2 Live Crew”

Atlanta rap group, The Ying Yang Twins (Kaine, D-Roc), are currently preparing a follow-up to the Ying Yang Twins' 2005 release "United States of Atlanta (Collipark Music/TVT Records)"

Atlanta rap group, The Ying Yang Twins (Kaine, D-Roc), are currently preparing a follow-up to the Ying Yang Twins' 2005 release "United States of Atlanta (Collipark Music/TVT Records)", new album entitled "2 Live Crew". The "2 Live Crew" album is an ode to the Miami rap group 2 Live Crew (Fresh Kid Ice, Brother Marquis, Mr. Mixx, Uncle Luke Skyywalker) most known for their sexually graphic lyrics and concert performances such as with songs "Me So Horny" and controversal album releases such as "As Nasty As They Wanna Be", which sold over two million copies.

Ying Yang Twins' "United States of Atlanta" has sold over 930,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Ying Yang Twins "2 Live Crew" will be co-executive produced by Rapper/producer Wyclef Jean, his cousin Jerry "Wonda" Duplessis and Michael "Mr. Collipark" Crooms (formerly DJ Smurf), the CEO of Atlanta-based label Collipark Music.

"2 Live Crew," is due out later this year.

In related news, Ying Yang Twins member Kaine recently launched his new label Grown Folk Entertainment, while D-Roc is currently working with Da Muzicianz, a group he formed two years ago with his younger brother Mr. Ball and Da Birthday Boy.
