I believe in pride of race and lineage and self: in pride of self so deep as to scorn injustice to other selves. Especially do I believe in the Negro Race: in the beauty of its genius, the sweetness of its soul, and its strength in that meekness which shall yet inherit this turbulent earth, these are words of W.E.B. The above words of embracing and loving yourself and your race are a lesson that needs to be learned by the entire Black Race. How do you see yourself and the position of the Black Race? Do you feel that the status of the Black Race is one that needs to continue to grow or is it at its highest level now? What do you feel is the mission of the Black Race, and how do you fit in that mission?

The Black Race has so much faith in everyone else that they cannot mustard any courage up to believe in themselves.
The things mentioned above need to be attended to by the Black Race. For the Black Race to continue to succeed they must first understand that they can succeed. From knowing that they can began to work toward achieving that success. The thought process of the Black Race needs a positive change. Carter G. Woodson once stated,
