Yo Gotti’s New Album ‘Back 2 Da Basics’ Now In Stores

Yo Gotti’s Album ‘Back 2 Da Basics’ drops this Tuesday May 23rd on TVT Records, and features hit single ‘Gangsta Party’ featuring Eightball & Bun B of UGK. “A lotta cats wanna be a rapper or a street hustler but they don’t wanna put in the time that it takes,” says Yo Gotti. “They want the money and the cars and the girls, but they don’t wanna work hard for it. But to be successful at anything you gotta grind for it.”

Gotti is currently on tour promoting the new album after recently being connected to a beef with local Memphis rapper Miscellaneous over song ‘Memphis Walk’ which the beef was first denied in reports but later confirmed by Miscellaneous in an interview with MemphisRap.com this past Sunday. The controversy came as both artists were thrown into the media after the shooting past Saturday night during Yo Gotti’s “Gangsta Grillz” release party at Plush Club on 380 Beale Street in Downtown Memphis.
