Is Beef Boiling with Yo Gotti & Memphis rapper Miscellaneous over song ‘Memphis Walk’

Since the shooting the Saturday night of Yo Gotti’s “Gangsta Grillz” release party at Plush Club on 380 Beale Street in Downtown Memphis, everyone’s been talking and the talk has obviously led to rumors and gossip. Well with a new production deal with Cash Money/Universal and a new album release on TVT Records, Yo Gotti is definitely the target for new rumors and gossip. There is word on the streets that there is some kind of beef between Yo Gotti and the rapper they call Miscellaneous. Sources told MemphisRap.com that Gotti used the song entitled “Memphis Walk,” which was originated by local Memphis rapper Miscellaneous, on one of his mixtapes without including Miscellaneous or his credits. “Miscellaneous isn’t messed up about it he got more songs, but it was a song that Miscellaneous released a while back, the song “Memphis Walk”, and Gotti put the song on a mixtape,” a source told MemphisRap.com in a phone conversation.

As far as the shooting at the Plush and whether or not it was related to the so-called Memphis Walk beef, Gotti’s attorney, Arthur Horne, says Yo Gotti had no involvement in the shooting. “He doesn’t condone that type of behavior and feels as though it was irresponsible, but does not have any control over what individuals do in that kind of setting,” Horne told WMC-TV 5 in an interview on spot at the Plush.

Well one thing is for sure, Yo Gotti is definitely still business as usual as according to Gotti’s attorney Yo Gotti is now out-of-town preparing for his tour for new album “Back 2 Da Basics”.

As far as the so-called beef, reports have it that the two (Gotti and Miscellaneous) had a chance to talk for the first time at the Plush party and they resolved everything. More official statements and reports may become available on MemphisRap.com.
