Free Sol wins Turner South’s ‘My South Rocks’ competition

BFree writes Well, in case you hadn’t heard the good news, Free Sol took home top honors at Turner South’s “My South Rocks” competition!!!! (applause…applause!!!) That means that in a few months we’ll be saying BON VOYAGE to the M-Town, because the winner was awarded a perfomance slot on this year’s Rock Boat, which will be setting sail for the Cayman Islands in October!!

It was indeed a tremendous competition, and it’s a shame that all 5 bands couldn’t win….. everyone was phenomenal. But hey, as the old saying goes….Y’ALL KNOW HOW WE DO!!!!! Ha haaa!! Yeeaaah!!! But seriously, though, thanks to all who came out and supported us Saturday night. You definitely motivated us to do our thing on that stage!! Which brings me to my next point…… don’t forget to come out to Newby’s on Tuesday nights for more great live music from Free Sol!
